"The Wayside Pond" is a small handmade, wheel thrown, teapot featuring a raw driftwood side handle found on the shores of the Great Lakes. Made from a warm white clay & fired to cone 10, it is finished with a matte off-white glaze. A marriage of earthly elements, this teapot is perfect for an individual cup of tea. Has a single spout for use with teabags & larger loose-leaf teas.

Measures approximately 7.5" W(including handle) x 4.5" D x 3.5"H, holds approximately 4 oz.

Hand wash only. Over time & depending on use, the handle will age naturally. You can choose to give it a light sanding with 400+ grit sandpaper or use a natural wood oil or wax to seal the wood. Please note that the later will give it a different, more finished look.

Please note that the photographs try and capture as many details as possible but sometimes the piece may look slightly different or have things we may have not captured in the photographs once you actually hold it in your hand.
