Sustainability & Environmental Responsibilities

All of us at The Earth Family take the climate and sustainability of this planet very seriously & we believe in continuing the practice of social and environmental responsibility into every detail and action we take. 

Our studio and commune are very environmentally friendly and we have taken the same measures at theearth.family website to do the same. We believe that being environmentally friendly is not a sales pitch nor a trend but the only way to operate physically, socially, and digitally in our current circumstances. 

Our measures: 

1. The sourcing and buying of tools & supplies is done with the utmost consideration, we have taken steps to select locally produced supplies where we can, from suppliers and brands that have the same ethos and considerations towards the planet that we do. 

2. We’re constantly working to find the best suppliers for shipping supplies. However, rest assured no purchase will be made at Uline, one of the largest donors to extreme right wing politics in the US. More info on this & resources at Refuse Uline. New boxes come from The Boxery who have cardboard made from recycled material. Sometimes we will repackage in boxes from personal shipments we have received.  

Packaging for the shipments are plastic free and bio-degradable or recyclable depending on the product purchased. All papers are either FSC certified or recycled.
