A handmade, wheel thrown, small teapot featuring a raw driftwood side handle found on the shores of the Great Lakes. Dark Brown clay fired to cone 10 with a wood ash glaze. The driftwood handle also features small pieces of brass embedded in it. A marriage of earthly elements, this teapot is perfect for an individual cup of tea. Has a multi-hole spout for larger loose-leaf teas.
Measures approximately 9" W(including handle) x 4" D x 3.75"H, holds approximately 5 oz.
Hand wash only. Over time & depending on frequency of use, the handle will age naturally. You can choose to give it a light sanding with 400+ grit sandpaper or use a natural wood oil or wax to seal the wood. Please note that the later will give it a different, more finished look.
