A handmade, wheel thrown, teapot featuring a raw driftwood rear handle found on the shores of the Great Lakes. Dark Brown clay fired to cone 10 and finished with a gunmetal gray glaze. A marriage of earthly elements, this teapot is perfect for cups of tea for two. Has a multi-hole spout for larger loose-leaf teas.
Measures approximately 8" x 5" x 5".
Hand wash only. Over time & depending on frequency of use, the handle will age naturally. You can choose to give it a light sanding with 400+ grit sandpaper or use a natural wood oil or wax to seal the wood. Please note that the later will give it a different, more finished look.
Please note that the photographs try and capture as many details as possible but sometimes the piece may look slightly different or have things we may have not captured in the photographs once you actually hold it in your hand.
