A handmade, wheel thrown, small teapot featuring a raw driftwood side handle found on the shores of the Great Lakes. "Weekend Hootenany" is thrown from dark brown clay and fired to cone 10+ in the kiln. Afterwards it was glazed with a matte creamy white glaze and fired to vitrification. A marriage of earthly elements, this teapot is perfect for an individual cup of tea. Has a multi-hole spout for larger loose-leaf teas.
Measures approximately " W(including handle) x " D x "H, holds approximately oz.
Hand wash only. Over time & depending on use, the handle will age naturally. You can choose to give it a light sanding with 400+ grit sandpaper or use a natural wood oil or wax to seal the wood. Please note that the later will give it a different, more finished look.
Please note that the photographs try and capture as many details as possible but sometimes the piece may look slightly different or have things we may have not captured in the photographs once you actually hold it in your hand.
