Contains a foreword by legendary Daisosho, Sen Sōshitsu XV (currently 98 years old!) and a preface by Gotō Noboru. 100’s of catalogued items illustrated in b&w; 32 of the items illustrated again in beautiful color plates. Paintings, writings, flower containers, incense and charcoal containers, kettles and braziers, tea containers, tea scoops, water jars, teabowls, serving bowls all on display. Also features essays by well known tea ceremony legends.
